ok heres my problem. i jus installed an HID system to go with my Anzo projectors. i wired the HIds up using a relay and harness. when i fire up the HIDs with the radio on, it makes a like a static noise for like a second. when i fire up the HIDs with the radio deck off, it does NOT make any noise. any ideas. fyi...the HIDs work fine either way

 

The radio makes a static noise? You make sure everything is grounded properly? I don't know about HIDs but I know car audio components that are improperly grounded can create 'interference' through the stereo. I'd check to make sure you have a good solid ground, preferably bare metal (painted metal wont ground as well.) Try maybe grounding it on the negative terminal of your battery and see if that helps. Only thing I can think of, hopefully someone can help more!
