I picked up a Kenstyle lip kit the other week. It didn't come with any brackets so I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a hold of some. Thanks.
Body shop job....YES.....unless you are proficient with body fillers and basic bracket fabrication.
Someone makes some brackets for a custom lip kit? That I sincerely doubt. I can not speak for the Kenstyle kit but my ED kit took about 10 hours of professional massaging to really mount and fit almost as well as a factory part would. I have been doing bodywork for 30 years. Kits vary but typically body and lip kits are basic forms where a good bit of the mounting provisions are left to the buyer ( and unfortunately often alot of the shaping as well).

There's a guy on here somewhere who was nice enough to scan his installation instructions from kenstyle. He's selling his kit, its the real deal... ureathane (spelling?)
anyways it helped me on mine.
I forget his name.. I'll try to find it and give him the props.

You can make a decent bracket from some thick aluminum strips. I have some laying around the shop. I'll use the aluminum and bend it to the shape I need. No big deal.
I havn't done the brackets on the front yet, or the bottom brackets on the sides. I only did the rear lip bracket.
On the front and rear, you dont absolutly NEED a bracket, though it would make it more sturdy.
The front is pretty good by itself, after putting some nuts, bolts & lock washers attaching it to the bumper.
The back would need a bracket more than the front.
The sides need something fabricated to make them tight with the body towards the center of the skirt. I'm still working on that.
On the instructions the pics show some kind of angle aluminum or something with doublesided tape. I tried that, but it didnt work well. i think i'm going to glass the angle aluminum onto the side skirts, and figure out a way to sqeez some kind of tool up in there to get a fastener, maybe a self drilling screw or something. I can get by with how they are right now, but I want them to be tight against the body.
Here's mine. I just installed it last week.

My front lip looks way off on the color because I have an invisible bra on the bumper. Its yellowing, so I think i will take it off. It would helped if I washed the car too! :D
BTW you should go through the trouble of installing everything BEFORE you start on the refinishing. Its a pain if you get it all prepped and painted, and then have to do some extra work afterwards because it doesnt fit just right. Thats the joys we get from the knock off fiberglass parts.
Mine fit pretty well, I just had to do some extra grinding on the glass to make it squeeze into place.

I made my front brackets from 18 guage sheet metal. I made duplicates of the factory lip mountings that were not part of the lip kit. On the sides I used the factory lips adhesived inside the new lips for mounting, mounts just like factory except for the bolt thru access covers on the sides near the ends. One quality screw into the wheel opening lip works good on the ends. My rear lip I siamesed the stock rear lips into the replacement with adhesives and mount it to the car with the factory mounting. The only mounting for all 4 pieces that is not a stock location with a stock fastener is the 4 screws holding the side lips into the 4 wheel opeings
