i smoked my tails and added a basketball design. more pics in my gallery (i know it's hard to see, but the lights are on)

my drivers side LEDs are very dull. it actually looks like its burnt out from a distance.
i've already cleaned the contacts with electrical cleaner but that didnt work. i've had them for less than 2 years and already they're crapping out. ____es me off.

My passenger side also has some dim leds. I think the only thing you can do is replace the whole light, or take it apart and replace leds on the board one by one.

has anyone taken apart a set of Sonar tails yet? I mean all the way down to removing the circuit board with LEDs?

Thanks for the quick DIY on removing the tails.. I'm glad I found your thread before I tried taking off the bumper like some other threads suggested!

Cool, I'm glad it helped. DIY with pics are the way to go. Post some pics up of the taillights you installed.
