Default NEED HELP!!! HID kit for my 04 xB

Ok guys I have read all the posts saying "Ebay has no good HID kits", but I have not seen a place that gives you a good alternative for a reasonable price! I currently have projectors with the 9006 bulbs,
and I got a HID kit from HIDExtra.com but after about 3 months both ballasts stopped working. I am looking for a 6000K HID Kit for sub $100 that are Bi-Xenon H4.

Can someone please recommend from experience?

i have a kit from hidnation.com.... been working fine for long times now, no issues, was close to 40$ and another 15$ for the relay...
still cheaper then hid extra, and better customer service now that marshall is gone..

i read somewhere that the 55 watt causes strain on the factory system and a relay is needed to run them properly but i dont think the hid bulb gets as hot as a halogen as far as ambient temp goes

Stick with as close to 4300k as possible, adding blue color will reduce the light output and it will seem darker on the road... 35w kits are fine and you'll be surprised at the output. 55w may damage the wiring, safest way to go it to run them directly off the battery, as for melting the projectors... possible. I've seen a few "ebay" projectors, and even some name brand aftermarket projectors with signs of melting (inner chrome/black bubbling) from the 55w kits.

My current 35 W ballasts have had problems. I sometimes switch them on and their peak power is too much for the system. had to get a bigger fuse and it has alleviated the issue. plus im not on a relay right now. i will stick with the 35W for now since I dont feel like installing a relay. im happy with the 35s

35w is the way to go. You'll be surprised by the light output.

NEVER use a 55W on the streets. You could damage someone's eyes.

35W is more than enough, 3 times brighter than halogens.

I've had great reliability from a HIDGUY.net bi-xenon kit.
I haven't had a flicker once since installing in May.

Who cares about the other person's eyes. Your safety comes first. Get 55w and avoid a deer at night.
