Default silver star headlight bukb problem ?

i put my new bulbs, didnt get any grease on them, clipped them in... and crap there screwed up the driver side is shining upish(i can see like 40feet infront), and the passenger is shining down( i can only see like 10feet)? so when im driving my beam pattern is like a graph of my budget any ideas as to how to fix this ? im thinking i have to tighten or loosen one of those springs ? any ideas ?

I assume they are 9003s and that you got them seated properly with their three little 'wings' in the three little slots, and then locked down tight with the retaining springs locked in?

Their filaments are precision aligned, and everything SHOULD be properly lined up with no adjustment required.
