wade and weather techs are both in channels...

both are about the same in design and quaility....
weather techs are about $30-$40 more, but the warrenty behind it is second to none.

i recomend either wades or weathertechs

like they posted before...
check ebay for wades

weathertech

i got wades... for the most part they fit... but both fronts (d&p) the angled edge just before the vertical part near mirrors keep backing out and exposing the tape that came on it... gives ugly grey line .... any1 else have similar issues??

thinkin i'm gonna pull the fronts... peal the tape off... put new tape on the uper edge and leave the currently offending parts w/o tape.... that way if they decide to back out a bit, you wont really be able to tell

I had to scrap my Weathertechs. They popped out the lower inside seal and pinched the lower exterior seal. There was just no way to get the trailing edge of the deflector to sit over the edge of the outer seal without collapsing it.

Sounds like the Wades are the best price and quality.

Wades for me, then. Next question, clear or tinted? (My front windows are not tinted.)

OOOO didn't know they came in clear. You could color match them to your toaster.

If they are clear, you paint them on the inside so they match your exterior paint. IE; TCM in your case.

How many bottles of touch-up paint will that take?

Can I do that at an auto parts store, or do I need to try a body shop? Also, will it block any of my vision?

It shouldn't block any more vision than the dark tinted ones do.

Default WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors - Benefits?

I bought an '05 TCM xB that came with WeatherTech side window deflectors.

I can't decide whether to leave them on or take them off.

Do they offer any benefits besides "looks"?

Thanks.

yes they allow for a cracked window without all the noise also if its raining you can oen the window a bit and not get wet. thus allowing you to better control the air inside your car without the ac being on. i have a set of ventshades on my blazer and love them i just cant decide stick on vs channel for my toaster

Go for the in-channel ones. The stick on ones look cheezy plus they sometimes come loose and need to be re attatched.
