8000k in Projectors aimed the whole way down...

the fence is 12 feet high, and ~20 feet away

I have 6000K and I really like them.
The light output is great and they have a really nice color to them...

I have a pic of the housing so you can see the color, but ever since myspace bought photobucket, it's taking forever to load

Here... the housing is dirty, but this should give you an idea of the color.

I would go with the 6000k if you want them white with just a hint of blue.

4300K is the brightest. Look up the lumens of each of the colors.

Don't worry about brightness... anything is going to be significantly brighter than halogen.

You really only need to worry about visibility once you get up to the 10000K range.

4300 is going to look like really bright silverstars, 6000 has a hint of blue, but the light that is cast is still mostly white. 8000 is going to be more blue, however it still has great output.

6k always, 8k is too blue, like nerdsports said the lumes are the brightest witht eh 4300, and 6k is after that and it goes down the higher you go
