'06 Head Unit Upgrade With XM
Just wanted to pass this along... I installed my '06 head unit today.
For those with XM thinking about changing head units, the XM receiver contains the radio code, the head unit is a 'pass-through'.
I wasn't sure if the radio code would change with the head unit.
The receiver also retains all the station presets, so it's plug and play.
I was concerned about having to call XM to update account info, these people are off-shore, communication issues...
The '06 head unit is nice, it's more flexible with settings then the '05.
