Default DENSO 4300K HID KIT

http://www.hidexpert.com/poem_kit.html

Have anybody ever used this kit? It is using a Denso ballast which is used mostly by LEXUS and TOYOTA .

Just wondering if the High-beam symbol will lit on the dash or not.

That is an outrageous price for a kit like that. Check in the sponsored sales. You can get quality kits for far less than that.

all that extra money spent, and they dont even include relays, so you will be sure to fry your stock wiring
Thats cool though, because you can always spend another $280 with them for a whole new set of ballasts...... meh..
Sponsored sales is the way to go..

Umnitza is selling analog kits for $50... add $20 for a relay harness and you're golden.

i doubt those cheap kits are OEM quality though. to the OP, unless you're doing a projector retrofit, don't waste your money on the quality HID components. just buy the cheap crap kits everyone does and slap em in there. be prepared for massive hot spots and GLARE.

Tried and true. I have both an analog and digital kit. I prefer the quicker warm-up on the analog ones.

That’s the reason why I want a D2R kit, coz D2R bulb can reduce the glare.

not much though. it's the optics. those bulbs are made to shine through a projector made for HID lighting.

if you're gonna do an all out projector retrofit. more power to you. in fact, that would be awesome. but don't waste the big bucks on quality components just to put them inside a reflector housing.

Yea, if you want to eliminate the glare, you should buy projectors or do a retrofit. The glare in the stock housing is quite bad.

I have been running the 'cheap' kits for over two years and they're great. I now have them in the Sonar projectors and there's absolutely no glare, really crisp cutoff and fantastic output.
