You should have picked up the cell phone and called the police right then and there. A police report and a cheap lawyer would have ensured you got this taken care of properly.

Also, my two cents, I would take the car to the body shop of your choice. I wouldn't take it to some place his dad knows either. You need neutral ground.

I'm dealing with similar crap due to my dealership damaging my door after a WEEK of ownership. So now I have a new car that's got it's value severely lowered because of their degligence and dishonesty. Not acceptable.

 

that really does stink..I too have a Black Cherry xB and a day or so after I had the new car, I got my first windshield crack; a rock went straight into it. I was just as ____ed but haven't fixed it yet. Keep me updated on what happens.

hope you find a good body shop to take it to. I took my car to the dealer autharized body shop and they did an ok job but it took them forever to fix it. plus they did not paint everything. so I won't use them ever again. hopefully you will have better luck then i did.
