idle problems.. NEED HELP!!

Default idle problems.. NEED HELP!!

ok well for the past few weeks my xB has been ideling really harshly and really low lately... i have an auto and everyimte i am in drive and come to a stop my idle is really low aobut 550 to 650 and its like vibrating my whole car .. along iwth that my hood is vibrating like crazy... it all seemed to happen after a trip to santa barbara that i drove in my xB... ever since then my car has had a really harsh idel.. now when i pop it into nuetral at a light its fine but it also goes back up to aobut 1000 rpm.. but when bakc in drive it goes too low and shakes my hwole car.... any thoughs?

there was a TSB issued. . . the throttle cable needs to be adjusted. Take it to the dealer, it should be free.

I just took my xB into the dealer for this issue and they told me it is normal for my car and that their was nothing wrong. If there is a TSB please let me know so that I can take it with me to the dealer and get this issue fixed.

and tell em u are unhappy with their previous statement of nothing wrong , maybe u can get some free oil changes or something , or at least the service guys can learn something.

i did mine in about 2 minutes.. why hassle yourself with waiting at the dealer?

well alot of people arent that mechanically handy and with the xca a lil less room so some people are intimidated. if i had the specs id do it to mine , my only prob is the fluctuating idle.
