Default Just got fooled!

I just received my order of "Genuine Toyota Rear Tail Lights Set Clear Lens w/ LED by TYC". The advertising says "with LED light technology". This apparently does not mean the lights utilize LED bulbs. The lens are standard multi faceted reflectors and don't even look anything like LED's. The black housing looks nice and the lights will still go on the car. However the advertising is misleading, bordering on fraud. It's not just the (unnamed) store that I purchased from, but every retailer selling them on the internet uses the same description. So don't be fooled.

Yeah, retailers will say anything these days. I feel a lot better knowing the exhaust that came with my car is "tunable"

Now to make things worse. I installed them in the car. No problems, ten minutes per side, plugged them in and everything works but the brake lights. put the original lights back in and no brake lights. I checked all the connections, bulbs, and fuses multiple times and I can't find the problem. Any ideas?

check the flexible circuit board on the back of the lights..... they sometimes touch the mounting bolt and short out when the brake light is applied....
