Default quiet turn signal

I will start off by saying I love my xA. I first posted about the sensitive horn. Now my next small gripe. It seems the turn signal is quiet. Sometimes I see people behind me waving me over and then I notice my signal is still on from changing lanes 5 minutes earlier  Anybody else notice this?

Open your eyes. The turn indicator flashes to the right of your speedometer. So don't forget to check your speed and the various indicators next to it on a regular basis.

yeah that is something i've gotten used to, checking the gauges a lot since they aren't right in front of you. but it's made it a bit better since now I make a "lap" of the gauges to the passenger mirror, rear view and my side mirror

I always check if I do that. I go -- where's that thing again? Oh yeah -- and check to the right, middle console.

I'm almost used to it by now.

One good thing, it's not covered by the steering wheel.

Lots to do in a manual. Grab this, pull that, step on this, blip the gas, ease off the clutch, check if the turn signal turned off, cycle the Scion processing at stoplights...
