Default rosta cruise control switch lever

I am wondering how anyone could use the thing. I had it installed at the dealership and they put it real low on the column. It is like at the 6:30 or 7 o clock position on the wheel. Where is yours positioned like on a clock face?
They said they would re do it when a new column( lower cover) comes into parts. I was just wondering where the normal positon would be.

Sorry to hear your dealer screwed up on the placement of the lever.

My Rostra CC lever was installed at about 8 to 8:30 and that seems about right. Sound like the installer was not paying attention or didn't care.

You can download the Install Manual at Rostra.com to check what Rostra advices about lever placement.

I'd get it fixed and ask for some compensation from your dealer from their bad work.

Good luck. RPM

Thanks for the general opinion that it should be around 8 or 8:30... I will be sure that is where they put it now. Loved the bit about Geico.... Made my day.

Forgot about the not being able to read it at night thing. How hard would it have been to add some lighting to it . Other than that it works fine.
