I think pulling the tape off is ghetto and fugly.

 

It just draws attention to the door frame, not a plus to me.

 

 

Mine came with it off from the lot...here's a pic of my BSP with tape off

 

the BSP doesn't come with tape...its already black

 

I knew that Ok maybe I didn't...so this whole time I thought I was special cuz mine didn't have any tape...only to realize I'm just a regular guy with a regular BSP with no tape cuz it's already black Man I feel ignorant now

should i do this on my shadow mica? what if the color under my shadow mica is black. lol that would suck.

I have pulled my tape off both of mine RS2.0 and RS3.0 and the cars look a whole lot better they dont look so much like a box better body lines.

 

Hey onionescion, Can you post some pics, I would like to see some more examples of the RS2, Because that is what I have and I want more examples of what it looks like

 

It helps if you remove the mirrors. It took 2 hrs. for the first door then I got a rhythm going and did the rest in 2 more hrs. I think the BCP look great without that black crap.

 

It looks TONS better with the tape off. Why the hell did they put that crap on there in the first place!? Having tape cover up the beautiful paint is the most retarded thing ever.

I'm thinking it was just a certain style they were going for. I agree! It was a dumb move to cover up perfectly good paint.

 

I've never seen (or maybe noticed) this done before.
Is there a clearcoat on the paint under the covered area?
Anybody have a pic of a Camo Green XB with this done to it?

 

There's clear coat where the tape used to be on mine (further proving the tape to be stupid lol)

 

Mine had one small quarter sized spot I had to rub out after the tape removed. It was like sanding marks. They rubbed right out and all was fine. I just like to see more color. Plus you can tell a modded one from a stocker.
