Don't know if this qualifies as an insult, but my hubby likes to say that my xB (which is still pretty much stock, btw), isn't a rice rocket, it's a ricebox! For the record, he loves my car... he drives it more than I do!!!

The UPS delivery guy was kinding giving a questioning look.....I didn't let him get it out. Instead, I said; I want to be just like you when I grow up (CAMOBox)

Lmao @ Grey hound 4 special people!!!!

Hmm...one day I was in the parking lot of Best Buy and i was sitting in my friend's ford focus , this girl in an integra hit the side of my door...( I have no luck with my left passenger door ;-\ ) So i hit the panic button , as if the alarm went off, and these ppl started staring at the car like it had cooties....so after like 3 mins of letting it go off i turned it off and this lady was walking by with her parents and she goes "whats the roll over rate on that?" I was like Grrr...fat heffa! lol...

Others I've heard were...

"I drive the short bus."

"Looks like a cardboard box on wheels."

and other than that..most people just point and laugh...

You would think people appreciate the more "shaped" vehicle....

TheWife just laid one on me. You see, she drives a Mercury Cougar - very sharp, sporty, and round. Of course I have the Camo xB.
She says the shapes of our cars fit/match our respective personalities. Now, I'm not sure if she is dissing the car, me, or both.
At the same time, I can argue the point

I have a "I heart my xB" shirt with heart and xB as little pictures.

When people at school ask "why do you have an element (or some people say moving van) on your shirt?" I reply, its a Scion, and what kind of car do YOU drive? Thats when either 1. people shut up and 2. people tell about the car that they WILL be getting. LOL. Also, some people complain about how ugly those are and stuff. Man, im just greatful to be 15 and have a 2005 ANYTHING!!!

Next funny story, I was wearing my shirt and a popular kid walked up to me and said "Hey is that one of those SKY-ONS". I said "What the f**k is a sky-on!?" He says "that thing on your shirt, do you actually have one of those?". I said "First off, thats a SCION not a SKY-ON, and yes I have one". "What do you drive buddy?".............Thats when he says "Well, when I turn 16 I get my sisters Saturn ION". I just preceded to laugh at his face and walk away.

Gee, I'm sorry that some people take offense at this thread. The intent of it (as I am the person who started it back in October of 2004) was to laugh at ourselves, take pride in the jokes (and sometimes slurs) tossed at us.

Some of the jokes said about our cars are really quite funny and I really appreciate the creativity of the jokesters.

Look at the license plates that have come from the jokes...

Mine for example -

CR8 4 K9Z.

What could be better?

All I do is wipe them down my friend. Clean Windows and Clean Trim help set off
the color of the car. It's all very simple.

Not slammin anyone in particular, no really I'm not. But, I've seen a lot of "husrt" comments in this thread. WTF is a hurst? The station wagon thing that carries a coffin to the cemeitary is a hurse. The family that lives in CA and is very rich from the newspaper business and famous for having a kidnapped granddaughter is a Hurst, as is the Hurst Castle. I find it really strange that out of all the references, someone has not yet got it correct. And no, I'm not an English teacher, proven by my bad spelling and grammer. Just a geek that has a thing about using correct words .

If I want to cruize in a head-turning car without getting insulted, I just drive the Buick Reatta.

Thank you Huskerchub for TRYING to correct me, you could've tried to be more tactful but whatever, Thank you SirScion for correcting us ;) you did well. I dont mind being corrected when I'm wrong.
that clears up the whole "hurst shifter" dilema I was having...
