Oh yeah, it was dodge colt. Isn't that a form of a mistu. or something? It was real pos, too.

I've had someone ask me if it was fast and I was like yeah! They were like prove it. So I took off real slow. The best part was I heard the guy mumble "thats not fast" with disapointment.

...to those who spent too much
...to those who think they're fast
...to those who really pay to much,
when they fill up with gas
...we really do, we pity you,
when we see you at the light.
See Edmonds pics for 006,
They'll surely set you right!

Damn, you're right!

from here
Editors' Most Wanted Vehicles for 2006

Most Wanted Wagon Under $15,000

2006 Scion xBWinner: Scion xB

The Scion's spunky xB is a hit with the finicky youngsters while at the same time being a sensible (dare we say mature?) choice for transportation. Able to carry four lanky (five if one of them is really skinny) hipsters and their gear in spacious comfort, the xB also offers an impressive amount of standard features including A/C, a Pioneer stereo with CD player, power everything, ABS and stability control. With all this going for it, the xB had no problem charming our staff into making it our top choice.
I hadn't even seen all these honors before I bought the box... that's tight

I don't think that's entirely accurate. We're all here because we have a scion or really like them. Saying you don't like someone's wheels doesn't mean you hate the car. I think this thread is more about brain dead hicks making personal attacks against people because they don't drive a F350 or some other hillbilly car.

I still don't get the whole "buy American" reasoning? If only the general public knew about how badly the UAW are killing the big 3. Also the way the CEO of Ford is bankrupting the company. The AFA is boycotting Ford for running full page adds in ___ male magazines. It's gotten so bad that dealers are emailing him telling him to quit doing it. It's no wonder that Toyota has passed Ford to be the #2 US automaker.

When I hear the buy American BS I simply reply... I sure will when they make something worth buying again. Usually shuts them right up.

Made in the USA still stands for quality when buying guitars, electronics and other speacialty stuff. When it comes to cars, you're better off not buying american unless it's for a niche car like a corvette or mustang cobra.

The other night while leaving work some woman rolled down the window of her 01' mustang and asked me if I "bought that ugly vehicle."

No I made it.

A guy this weekend couldn't understand why I would buy an xB over something like say... a used BMW of all things. I know I can get a lot of used car for $16k but will they be as simple to maintain as a new Toyota? Probably not!!

I know BMWs are great but that ain't where I'm at right now. I need something with more utility.

A used BMW is like a ticking timebomb. What will go wrong with it next.
