Default Is the xB's Uniqueness Fading?

A year ago, around here in Eastern PA, xB's turned heads. You might see one a week, and nobody knew what they were.

Saturday I was running some errands and in the course of a couple of hours I saw five different xB's, just in my little local suburban area. And downtown where I work, I usually see several during rush hour as I leave the city.

So is your xB still getting reactions from people on the street? Do you live somewhere that xB's are common, or is yours still the only one around? And if you're no longer unique, do you miss it?

Don't get as much reaction as I used too, but there is still no other car even close to the xB - so it is still unique in that sense.

Like any car its going to lose its popularity with time. Although I still get many a look but modding always helps your car stand out from the normal xBs. Also debagging I find to be fun cause then some people are really lost

It also depends a little on where you live. I live in South-Central PA and around here, Scions are everywhere. I could probably drive to the local Wal-Mart right now and find at least 6 in the parking lot at this moment. Last week however, we were in Chicago. What was really strange was there we were, in a major metropolitan area, and I bet I didn't see 5 Scions ALL WEEK! City or suburbs! It was weird.

Bought my XB last Aug. and it was the only one in my area, in fact I had to drive 2 hours to get it. Now ther are 2 dealers within 1/2 hour from where I live (Bloomsburg, PA) there are only about 5 XBs and 2 XAs in my area that i see often so I still get the looks when people see it, but I have a feeling that there will be many more in my area now that the dealers ae so close.

I still get looks and questions, but I've found they are from older people or kids. The frequency of the stares has definitely dropped from a year ago.

it may seem like that, but yeah, the xB's/Scions are unique enough.
just keep it alive and you'll be cool.

no matter what, you'll still turn heads.

as a matter of fact, I saw a couple on their 60's looking around and inside my xB as I went inside my local kmart. It's my lucas mirrors that caught their attention, saw the old man touch it.

I went to Ikea one day, and put a leather love seat into the back of my XB. Immediately someone ask me about the car. He said he is always wondering about how much the car can handle and how far I can drive. I met at least two guys asking me how it is felt at 80mph. It seems a lot of people still have little idea about the car. Maybe they won't stare at the car like before, but that doesn't mean it's no longer unique.

Default Uniqueness

It's like anything new At first it turns heads then it does'nt ..............
When my wife got her P.T. everybody looked then there were thousands of them, then she traded that in for a Magnum it was the only one around Tucson for about 3 mos. now they are evryhwere !!!!!
Make your XB stand out with MODS and people will still notice, maybe not strain their necks as much as they used too .................

Still unique here in Tulsa OK but more common than they were even four months ago when I got mine. But I get more smiles from this than anything else....
