I don't think the uniqueness will ever go away, no matter what other companies come out with, it will never be like our xb's. I also have seen more tc's than anything lately but we do have quite a few xb's around.

The xB has no uniqueness here, there are tons of them on the roads everywhere. This place is just about crawling with them, as is most of SoCal. That said, still a totally awesome little car, fun to drive, and super value for the money. Those attributes don't change regardless of what other people think of it!

Xb's are everywhere.

The sales lady called me today. My xB will be here in ten days. Tomorrow I'm going over to talk to them about some Bling Bling for it. Fog lights, rear spoiler, cool tail lights, carbon fiber trim, FR-7 Piaa wheels, custom aluminum grill. You know silly stuff.

For some reason I can't explain it on no less than ten, yes I said ten, test drives, for something with little power and that looks like a toaster on wheels
I had a grin from ear to ear every time.

So it looks like I'll be yet another face in the crowd!

Ciao,
Timothy

Not to change the subject... All that stuff you want to get from the dealer is available and much cheaper online. Plus the money you save you could pay someone to install it. JMO

Why jethro b? Because I can!! And this dealer needs to stay in business. They were the only ones to answer all my silly questions and put up with me on all the test drives. Yes I could get all the stuff cheaper on line and install them myself but WTF, their is something said for good customer service.

any plans of moving to CA?
in a year or two, i might be a salesman, and you're the kind of customer i'm looking for.
Trust me, I will answer all your silly question, and give you the best customer service, just to get your money, errr I mean your business.

Parts sale scenario: the wheels, we give discount. from $2000 we let it go for $1,600. anyway we only got that for $700.

Just when i thought my car stopped turning heads a man stopped to peek in while i was in the middle of doing something...private per say. It was pretty funny. I jumped up and tried my best to not look guilty...Anyway he went so far as to ask if he could take a peek inside. I let him in.

Before YOU start calling people names, YOU need to go back and read what was written. All I did was try to help YOU and you jumped Down my throat. If this is the type of person YOU are, maybe YOU should go find a site that condones that type of behavior. We really don't need it on here. For the most part this is a very friendly community of people that LOVE SCIONS and also like to SAVE MONEY. If you had bothered to hang out a while you would see what this site is all about and would not go shooting off YOUR MOUTH. GOOD DAY

NO MORE YELLING! Ok, back to the topic. I have an xB and the Element down the street is feelin the heat. No, thats not a song. For real, the xB is the modern day VW bus, even today, people still see them as unique and our xB's are no different. xB's are the front edge of present day icons.

I see a couple xB's every day.
That's nothing compared to the glut of Elements, MINIs, and Beetles.
I think there are more tC's than xB's in town.

It will always be s super practical fun vehicle at a good price that says I don't care what you think!

I’m either ambivalent or apathetic. I don’t know which and I don’t care!
