Default black xb with vinyl

I've seen all the classic PW XB's with the black vinyl overlay. Anyone go the opposite way and go white vinyl on a BSP XB? Or anyone willing to photoshop the idea? Thinking about going that way but I'd like to see it done first. Thanks!

i would just leave it as is.. white sticker looks iffy on black maybe if it was another color unless your planning to do someting like a check pattern on ur hood or on ur roof etc then that might look kinda cool

Yeah i dont really plan to get it lol. I may just have that section repainted or something. I dont really like the black overlay I think it looks kinda like ur trying too hard. Maybe if it just partially covered the center section somehow...

I painted my upper grille on my classic Silver. I was pleased with how it looked. I like how it fades into the middle.

Actually I didn't really do any "real" prep as I figured this is an extra grille and I don't know if this is what I want. I used a powerfull degreaser and washed and dried it but other then that, just primer and paint.

I went to my local parts store with the paint code and had them mix a couple rattle cans for me. Turned out a lot better then I thought it would. So far, to my surprise, I've got no chips or peeling.

If I have to do it all over again, I'll likely sand the face and find a way to lightly rough up the inlet holes and get better adhesion for the paint.
