Default Front License Plate Bracket

Hello all;

Does anyone know if the Eight08 Customs front license plate bracket will fitt the xB Gen 2

Here is a link to the part I am interested in.

http://www.eight08customs.com/v3/sto...-plate-bracket

I have searched to see if I can find anything on this, but have not seen any definative answers.

If this does not fit is there an alternative to getting the bumper drilled?

Thanks!

Just go to the Home Depot and buy the parts there.. and you can customize it to fit and look the way you want.

If it doesn't work, or you don't like how it looks.. you can return back everything.

What parts exactly are you refering to? The bracket that Eight08 sells is a fabricated piece. It's simple, but beyond the ability of your average joe to replicate. I had one fro my tC. It is a aluminum bar that has drilled and threaded holes for the license plate to mount to, then a couple of pieces of threaded dowel welded to it that mount to the grill on the car.

If you have a alternate process that can be accomplished with misc. pieces from Home Depot, then by all means please describe what to get, and how to assemble it.

Thanks!

I just got a ticket yesterday for no front plate while parked on Sunset. Damn parking ***** that patrol the streets of West Hollywood. (Remember to crank your wheel to the curb while you are in town or you WILL get a ticket.)

So I emailed that 808 customs since I had the holes that were in the bumper filled and repainted last summer.

It only cost $80 at Sierra Paint and Body and they did a great job, BTW.

Just gotta have a temporary fix to pass inspection and it'll come right back off.
