How-to: Black Headlight Mod
reviving this post from the dead but didn't want to start a new thread since I know this exists already but I did mine a month or 2 ago when I got some fogs finally (got them used on ebay for $45).

pics kinda suck but its my phone so deal with it lol please ignore the bug guts I commute and bugs apparently love my crimson/purple car.

heres mine thought i would share. two tone synergy metallic green and black sand pearl with painted graphics and painted simulated carbon fiber... going with my quad bi-xenon retrofit....
most of the times we just bake them shut again in the oven, i do 240 degree at 7 minutes.
my process is push the two halves together as much as possible. then put in oven and bake for 7 min, take them out and push them all the way back together, then ill throw it in the oven again for about 3 minutes to let the adhesive settle. that USUALLY works but if you want to be absolutely sure they are completely sealed... get this stuff it works awesome and its what i use:

Don't let this foo pull one over on ya, he is a well trained competitor! Jam master J has mad skills in paint and car modding... you should see his ride in person...
Anyways... with the harassing out of the way...
he knows his stuff and I personally would put a lot of value into his advice... plus he's a good cat as well.

You can use regular spray paint but you might want to look at using translucent paints instead, it lets the chrome show through for a candied look. I used a translucent purple last time I did mine, got it at the hobby store.
Sweet, thanks for the help. Ill be doing mine as soon as i get my intake in the mail
