I was curous if it is possible to convert the mirrior turn signals to a running marker light or have it due both.

weird.. i was pondering this on my way home.. i thought about rewiring it to stay on with the parking lights.. and blink with the turn signal.. will just need to break out the trusty multimeter, some relays, wire, 3m tape, and soldering gun.. let the fun begin!

 

yes exacty. But i wouldnt know where to begin. I saw a thread on the BB section, they did the same thing. Wander if it would work for the xb2

hmm.. if i do it i'll post a DIY.. it shouldn't be too hard for me to figure out.. i'll just have to trace the wires back as far as i can to find the easiest spot to do it where everyone doesn't have to go taking apart the car to do it.. maybe i'll try it next week.. it's finally cooling off here in MS

 

The running marker light is already placed on the side of the headlights.

 

^ they're talking about the LED on the side mirrors not the running lights

 

Yeah, I know, I was just wondering if they knew so they wouldn't have two marker lights?

 

I know theres one there. Why not have more then on marker light? Looks cool and its different. The more lights the cooler.
