Default Mobile HID having an issue

I just installed my mobile hid h11 3000k and i think the wiring harness isnt working on one side. the side that my battery is on (shorter wire) wont turn on the ballast. i though it might have been the ballast so i checked both of the ballast on the side that is working (the light further away from the battery long wire) and both check out in working order. i tried swapping the ballast and still no luck. any answers for this? this set is for my fog lights i also have another set for head lights. I was also disappointed in the quality of the h11 3000k bulbs as well. they didnt fit and i had to shave the tabs so they would fit. but im very happy with the H11 5000k kit and the 6000k bulbs i got from you. has this happen to anyone else?

sure might have a bad wire. can you check the wire with a tester see if theres a break in the wire .

the relay switch would work or not work at all if its bad

Hey RoboX,

I have the same MobileHID 3Ks for my fogs, and when I first installed them, they didn't work. I troubleshooted it down to a faulty harness by using my existing harness that were on my low beams. Since I totally removed my front bumper for the fog light install, I borrowed the harness that I was using for my headlights, and then had MobileHID send me a replacement harness. My money says it's a faulty harness...

Love the steez of your XB... definitely one of my few favorites.

Exactly... That's why you should have just "borrowed" the relay harness you were using for your headlights, so you could properly install the fogs. Then when you get your replacement harness, it would be a 15 minute job to install the relay harness for your HID low beams. Good luck.

Apparently you haven't been following RoboX's threads recently...

He no longer has his xB.
