would removing the engine cover cause any problems for the spark plugs wires?

 

i dont think so
it should be save there are other wires more exposed then the spark plug wires
i will see though
if anything ever does happen i ll let you know

That is what I used on the strup peice and it was on there for about 3 months if not more. Still looked good. I drove it to Vegas and back many times so I would say the durability on it is great.

 

Here is mine a week later. Looks like new still.

you have to make sure that you follow the directions exactly with this stuff, or it will not stick. Also It seems to work better on brand new parts, than older ones, i painted the whole exhaust in my ranger with the silver stuff, it stuck well to the downpipe, and first cat, which was new, but flaked off the header, which was not new, but well cleaned and applied by directions. so yeah, the silver stuff at least is hit or miss.
