Holy cow! What wheels are those?!?
Those are stock 2011 tc wheels! Got a steal on them paid $300 for the whole set the guy hadn't even put a hundred miles on them. The tires are what got me $675 just for the rubber and that was at a deal since I work for a Dunlop dealer...
I have to say when I was looking for a CAI and exhaust for my tC I wish I would have found this.
I did end up getting "eBay" parts and they work great. I'm so glad I didn't spend $500 more. I got an exhaust and CAI for ~$190 to my door.
I'll put a video of mine up if anyone's interested.
I have to make it first though

I think I have the same strut. If so you'll love it. It soaks up a lot of under steer.
I have an eBay intake now and honestly it is no different than any other name brand. There is only one way to snake the pipe through your engine bay. The only real difference is the weld quality, which honestly isn't bad I've seen worse, however I don't think it justifies a $200 price increase.
Headers on eBay are a different story. All the cheap ones are is stock just without the cat. The cat is restrictive and eliminating it will give you more flow which leads to power, however the stock bends are still sharp which is also restrictive, just not as much as the cat. The name brand ones, on top of having "better welds" have smother bends which obviously reduces flow restriction therefore you will make more power.
I think the question is with "eBay" parts is,"are the extra couple hp from name brands worth the extra couple hundred?" For me the answer is no, but some people think it is. It also I think is parlty a status thing.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents

Just wanted to bump this thread to the top here with the inclusion of myself running an eBay item.
Today I just installed the eBay strut brace with the carbon fiber cheap sticker (simply because this bar cost less than the red eBay strut brace).
<snip>
I'm hoping to help eliminate the dreadful windshield and A-pillar creaks using this bar (as I've heard suspicion on this forum that some persons have benefited via the same construct) as well as tighten up the front end a bit more.

Can't say I felt much benefit from it when driving, but then, I don't hit the twisties like some
! (I know they work since adding a tensioned front strut brace to my Eclipse had a dramatic effect even at low speed, but its towers are further forward from the firewall.)
So it looks like I'm joining the ebay party. I just ordered the cai and next up will be the header and big daddies cel fix. The intake is a great price at $62, but I do have one question. Does the install require a separate 90 degree coupler to mount the cai to the TB? Only reason I ask is because according to a video I saw on YouTube one is. I tried searching but I haven't seen anything yet. Any guidance would be appreciated!
Pyroman,
I tried searching for a used one too, I found a tsudo 4-1 and he pm'ed me asking 50 plus shipping, the problem is that the get bid up and you will still end up paying ~$200 for a used one.
From my understanding all they did as far as "custom work" is file down the face so it sits more flush. Personally I like doing stuff like that bc it makes me feel like I'm actually "working" on my car, not just bolting stuff on.
Any way again that's just my 2 cents.

Not to nitpick, but I saw a dyno review where they added a part then dyno'ed for a CAI, catback, headers.... Anyway the headers acctualy gave an increase of 11whp on top of the other parts contributions. It is by far the most restrictive part of your exhaust, and getting rid of your cats is the best and cheapest thing you can do to your engine to increase hp.
That being said I'm still not sold on the name brands because while I do see that you can get a few more hp out of them with their smoother bends, it still doesn't justify the price.
You don't have to file, it just makes for more optimal conditions. And the shavings should come out relatively quickly just from running or you can fetch them out by hand easily.
Anyway, sorry I keep bugging you, but just about the only thing I know about is exhaust, and I like talking about it
