Start up issues
I have a 2008 Scion xB, you can drive the car for several weeks without issue but sometimes after you park the car for a few minutes it refuses to start like it's getting no fuel.
You can wait 10 to 20 minutes and try again and it will start sometimes it stumbles but does start.
It is throwing no codes. I thought it may be a fuel pump issue but I have checked at local auto parts stores- anywhere from $700- $900' too expensive to take a shot in the dark.

Good call, Chunjee. I don't have a security system so that possibility didn't occur to me.
Matken17: $700 to $900 for a fuel pump? Are they quoting labor? Denso fuel pump and strainer assemblies are typically $110 to $120. The dealership will probably charge more. Local part shops may not have it in stock. Might want to call ahead to save a trip.
Another option is Amazon or Ebay. Seller listings typically indicate in-stock items. Delivery details often estimate delivery time.
Automatic transmission? If so, try shifting to neutral instead of starting in park. If the car starts in neutral, you may have an intermittent park-neutral safety switch. Good luck with the fix.
