Default WR intake manifold

So my WR intake manifold its been sitting in the closet for a while now, I want to install it but don't know if its just a bolt-on install or I have to tune it..

I have the TRD SC and TRD reflash when installed; WR headers, scuba delete, I thought it was only a bolt on, why it has to be tuned? Stock ECUs will overwrite new maps within a few miles. Some sort of flash memory embedded into the motherboard itself.
