Hello... well I’m new to this site new scion owner (super white 2011 Xb) as well. I have started to hook up an aftermarket amp (pioneer GM-D8400M) and a 12" Kicker L7 got everything hooked up... now where I’m stumped... I can’t find where to tap into to get a remote 12v. back to the amp. I would appreciate it if you all could help me out... by the way I have the stock Pioneer deck.

did you ever find the remote wire?

 

Yes... well I found a wire on the back of the stereo that would turn on and off with the ignition its grey... so it turns the amp on once I turn the car on but it stays on even if it power off the radio.

 

i found one that will turn on and off with the radio but only works with sat and radio it will turn off the amp when you put it on cd, ipod or aux is the third on the power plug looks like a wash out pink beige color

 

I think the one you are talking about might be for the power antenna... the one I used if you are looking at the power plug was the one on the far right and bottom. I believe it was gray I may be mistaken I could check if you need.
