Default Aftermarket Stereo installation question..

Hello, I have a 2010 Release Series 7.0 with the stock Alpine head unit, I use my phone 100% to get media to the stereo and the AUX input between the seats is just to low volume, even adding a Bluetooth adapter into the 3.5 is not usable when listening to podcast, the volume is
just to low, so my question is when I add an aftermarket Double Din media player like a Pioneer MVH-S622BS do I need anything special besides the standard wiring harness adapter? The stock unit has controls for a subwoofer and I was wondering if I need something to retain its use?
Thanks for any info.

I'm not really concerned about retaining the steering wheel controls.

Reverse Wire harness and the Dash Kit. That's it.

You're also going to want a parking brake bypass. It just makes life so much easier.
