Default Alpine navi touch screen problem!!!!

Well here we go again. I just got through with the Rand's bypass. I added two more tv's and a new system. But now I can't get my navi to set correctly.

I tried to calibrate it and it works for the meantime but as soon as I cut the car off it does not set correctly. I talk to my friend who is a Toyota tech and he sad to put the navi head unit in the calibrating mode and drive in a circle for 5 mins and it should work.

Is that true or am I wasting my time?
