Ive been thinking about the subs on the hatch door, but was wondering if any sub would be to heavy for the doors?

Might be to heavy with normal subs, but with shallow well subs maybe not?

Damn, you guys have some great setups. I would like to do something mild around a sub/amp setup in the back eventually, but I got to find the money to put towards it first.........and it is a hard sell to the wife . However, she is probably getting a new XD by the end of the month, so maybe that will spark some car/modding love in her. I can only hope.

This is my wife's (RMOMROX) set up so far...Well awhile back I picked up the Alpine/Scion SNS DVD/GPS system from Jamie at Larry Miller Scion and put it in the wife's RS7.0 xB with the help of Randy (RANDODE)...For mother's day, I purchased (2) 7" Power Acoustik LCD headrest monitors and had Randy work his magic once again...While doing the install, I had him install some purple cathodes to finish it off...I can't say it enough but Randy truly is the master when it comes to installs...Here are the pics of the newest mods:

I got a decent setup, just did the template for my trunk. Once the trunk piece is cnc'd out for the piece to go over my subs. I will get some good pictures.

nothing special, one amp for the interiors and one for the sub under the front passenger seat that i dont have a pic of. same box as rockthebeef. 3 cooling fans to keep the temperature down since it gets warm under the rear seat with 1200 watts.

Do you have any other pics of your leather seat covers? They look nice!

Where did you get them?

Thanks!

Here is my setup nothing fancy... I have a 12" Kicker L7 and a Pioneer 1,200 watt amp.

Sounds pretty good but could sound better I have been told that my box may not be at optimum air space. Does anyone know where I can find a box that meets Kicker specs for a 12" L7.

Here's my audio setup about 80% completed. Still need to build the cover piece, wire up the LED accents, and finish the 6x9's in the C-pillar cubbies.

Default Hatch mounted 12" sub

Finally got all the trimming, staining, routing, and polishing done on the sub enclosure for my hatch. Ended up adding about 45 extra lbs. to the hatch so I had to bump up the lifts from the stock 125 lb. units to 201 lb. units.

Now all that is left is to actually hook it up and put the LEDs in.
