Hey quick question. Does anybody know where the relay for the dash is in a 2012 xb??

 

Which relay? There are probably 15 or more of them for various functions. There is no relay for the headunit that I know of though.

 

Hmm I guess it'd be smarter of me to state my problem.... Anyways my issue is when I turn my headlights/parking lights on the head unit and the ac controls lights turn off. Does anyone know the fix to this issue??

 

Ok, I can think of a few things.

First, and most obvious, is your light dimmer turned down? If so turn it back up.

Second, did you put an aftermarket radio in the car? If so then check the ground for it, I would bet that the ground has been connected to the illumination wire insteaad of ground. The line reads as ground when the lights are off then goes to 12 volts when they are turned on.
