Hi All,
Just wanted to put out on the forum about updating the map in the Nav system for the xB. I just got a 2014 and need to update the maps. I have tried in vain to find out about updating the maps and finally resorted to the dealer for updating. There currently is NOT a 3rd party method to do a affordable update everything must go through the dealership on this.
1. Go to the dealership and provide your VIN
2. Purchase the update license
3. Schedule the car in for service
4. Toyota has to use a SST USB Drive to connect to the car to download and install the update.
5. The cost for all this is around $200 - $300 depending on your dealership.
