Question on passenger seats

Default Question on passenger seats

Hello,

i was thinking of trying to make my passenger seat on a swivel so i could turn it 180 degrees. has anyone ever done / tried this ?

pics links would be great if you had them.

Unless you plan on picking it up and turning it around I'm pretty sure this won't work. You just don't have the room for it to turn with how close it is to the center console and the b-pillar.

IM not adverse to that.

im planning a cross country trip quasi living in a 2009. i saw the video of the guy who turned it around completely, was kind of wondering if there was a semi permanent way to do swivel.

it is tight so yeah i could totally see swivel not working.

To just turn it around I would look into how the set attached to the rails then. It might be as easy as drilling a couple extra holes in the rail so the mounts line up both ways.

Maybe getting some longer bolts and/or spacers and just put it in backwards? Be careful with the sensors underneath though.
