well that was amusing. to say the least. I could give a flip about SPL or SQL. no interest in sound comps just clean easy affordable sound. However the tip about RMS was good. Will def keep that in mind. I will keeep you guys postedo n what happens. shoot i might even get that dual just to test it so people know whats going on and compare the two. (with decent video work of course not the same old let me hold my cellphone next to the speakers.)

i tried to play nice frozone. in the end, i just decided to troll that douche troll out of here. it's just easier that way. one less moron hanging around never hurt a thread. sorry about all the clutter.

was amusing for sure. i'm sure if i could have played around in his price range it would have been decent info. But like all the mods i do. i do it for the people strapped for cash cause of college or life. So if i can keept it as a whole under 300 then i think im doing well. So after talking around and looking heres what my plan is. I am a master buyer/seller So if i plan this right i can get around really spending any money. after all is said and done.
My plan is this.
Snag that Dual box for about 130- get a 750 RMS 4ohm mono amp to power it. actually review it for people. if its crud then its crud. if it could be passible for a begginer then i can review it that way as well. (the key is getting it from a company with an open return policy)
Then take my RF box/sub. remove that sub (if i can) and build another box for it and test that (before and after). then compare the two which is better. one rebuilt RF or dual 12 bp set up. (my money is on the RF for clarity and the Dual for lows being powered by the same sub.)
Depending on which works for me. Sell the other. the RF setup is worth around 140. and sell the amp another 40-50. so i just potentially got my money back for that. then pick up some components, sell my infintys (money back again) and swap 4 channel amps ( my prime 300 for an infinity 475a or similar)
if i can and i do mean IF. I might snag a SA-8/10 and compare that to the RF 10/ dual 12s.
and as always videotape and document the process. with silly commentary as well.
What ya'll think. should be an amusing journey involving diving deep into the bowels of ebay.
For the lurkers out there with 200 in their bank, I do it for you.

you think I will be satisfied with that set up?
Im a big JL fan only because it's proven well to my ears although the c2-650's im running have a super harsh tweet that I have already shelved off 3db at the crossover and still chop 2 db at the HU..
but I wanted to stay ___ and run all JL so I am looking into that JL 13TW5 sub
