Default Sundown SA12's

Well,

Its been a few years since I have had some subs, but I'm finally getting a system in my car again and figured I would share.

Subs: (2) Sundown SA12
Sub Amp: Rockford 1200d (birth sheet shows 1300 actual rms)
Enclosure: 4 cubes net, (2) 4" aero ports tune to 35hz
Speakers: JBL GTO (fronts only)
Speaker amp: Kenwood KAC1502s
HU: Kenwood DDX 419 (I've had this for a while)
Clarion Equalizer
GTMat sound deadener (had an amazon gift card, and it was cheap)

Should get my subs tomorrow and get it all put together, I will update with pics when I do

All in!

Got the amps, equalizer, and distrib blocks to fit nicely under the seat. It's not bolted down, but its in there so tight, you cant get it out without removing the seat.

I probably should have gone with some higher quality speakers. The midbass response is not so great, but oh well. They're a hell of a lot louder than stock and the subs take all the bass anyway. Maybe I'll upgrade them in a year or so.

very nice setup! did you consider mounting the amp under the rear seat...? i ask bc that area is literally dead space in my car that's never used and it's currently just empty, collecting dust.
