I just call my dealer and they took my downpayment payment over the phone along with some of the details of the new b. $100
They say it's refundable and will call me in when details become available. April is the month they mentioned too.

As a cheap azz, this gives me time to shore up my banking through a real bank. TMCC has no deals floating around. So April or May if fine by me. Last time I did this buying new thing I ended up paying 11% APR and my 96 corolla costed WAY more than the new b could possibly.

Shop around!!!

I was hoping for the end of March! That would have given me plenty of time to get what i need done to it before the big shows here in the NorthEast. Oh well. I did check with Scion and i was told that the April 15th limited release is still where its at. Like i said else where, theres nothing i can do about it, it just gives me more time to save.

You guys be thankful, I'm in Florida, so I won't see mine till probably September, since Southeast Toyota is always last to get anything. I'm not complaining to much, more I can pay off on current xB, since trade in value stinks BIG time in my area. No dealership around me cares, that the xB is in top 10 of holding it's value. When I went to trade mine in on RS3.0, they only wanted to give me $12,000 and I owed $19,000 at the time. I'm actually go to go to the biggest dealer in my area this time, instead of the dealer I have bought my last 3 vehicles, because they will give me more. Trading in a manual is hard in old fartsville!!!

Hmm, I only owe 8 on my '05 xb, I wonder how much they would give me for it on trade in. I was hoping that I may have 3+grand in equity since they are reselling at such high prices. Not to thread jack anyhow...

FYI .... Fl gets theirs before the NorthEast. Maine and the extreme NorthEast are some of the last dealerships to recieve their allocations.

Uhm, 12k on a used car that retailed at 16k is very very good (sorry but the accy's don't add much dollar value, just enjoyment value). Your payoff and the value of the car are not related. For example, if you owed nothing, I'm fairly certain that you'd want slightly more than nothing.
