Default accelerator problem

Got up this morning and nothing worked on my 2012 xb, I had lost all electrical power. I checked the battery, some minor corrosion. I removed and cleaned connectors and terminals. Now, I have power and the car will start, but the accelorator does nothing when pressed. The accelerator won't reve the engine in park. What do I do now? I've tried removing the negative battery terminal and let it sit for about 30 minutes, put it back on....same, the accelerator does nothing. Any ideas?

Possibly one of the engine fuse box fuses is blown, or one of the fusible links out there. Since the car is drive-by-wire the pedal is electronic so you're looking at no power to the pedal potentiometer or possibly a problem with the body control module.

Page 4 of the engine wiring diagram that I've attached has the wires for the pedal in it.

I forgot to mention the 'check engine' light is on. Gonna put the car on an OBD2 scanner tomorrow. It could be in Limp Mode. Thanks for the diagram,

Not a clue unless it had something to do with when I disconnected the battery terminals to clean them.
