Default AEM Dryflow filter for the 2008 xb?

Just wondering if AEM does make a flat-panel, drop in dryflow filter for the xb? I checked their website and stuff but it doesnt list the 08' xB, and I don't know if maybe our filter would be identical to another earlier scion/toyota car.

Or is there another company that offers a dryflow filter? I found a company called AFE and I posted about it before, but nobody seems to have any info on them...

Appreciate the help!

K&N is not the best option because their filters are oiled.

What's wrong with an oiled filter?

K&N has been an industry standard for 25 years.

I didn't say there was anything wrong! I said they just aren't the best because they are oiled. Oiled filters can potentially mess with the MAF if you oil it too much (which most people i've seen do). Not only that but they allow more dirt to pass through than other filters. Yes they flow better but better flow means less filtration.

I know a great deal about the K&N/TRD oiled filters and such, and plan to buy one IF I cannot find a dry flow filter. I would prefer a dry flow though which is why im researching them.

i haven't seen any dryflow drop ins. your best bet is to buy the AEM CAI. not sure if its in your budget, but i can say its well worth the money and easy to install. have you removed the carbon filter in the top of the air box. that will help a bit if you don't want an aftermarket intake.... good luck.

Amsoil makes the nanofiber filters but I can't tell if they are available for the XB. When I use the finder it lists a Wix filter so I don't know if that's the true nanofiber filter or just the normal filter that's available.

I only found one dry-filter, which is by AFE.

Never heard of them though... But only one I could find.

The AFE filters are top quality. I sell those as well.

The TRD drop in filter uses oil; it's not a dryflow.

It comes pre-oiled when new, but does need to be cleaned and oiled periodically.
