I'm just waiting for my pink line to show. Hopefully they have, or are working on a permanent solution.

 

Well, pink line showed 2 weeks ago, and I dropped it off at 0700 this AM. Will not get it back until tomorrow because they had to overnight a pump. 17061 miles.

 

Well, dropped car of at 0700 Thu, was told around lunch that they had to overnight the waterpump. Called today at 1500 and told the waterpump did not come on either shipment, and these ****** are not open on Sat. Got the car back, and gotta drop it back off Mon PM.

 

your dealer blows!! we stock them and have them in and out in 1 hour.. sorry about your bad experience man...

Partly my fault. I grew up here and we just moved back, I forgot that we have two dealers and the one I picked usually sucks and does not work saturdays.

the southeast region of toyota blows anyways,, I just came back north from florida,, the parts down there are a joke.. here we order by 6pm we have it a 6am the next day.. down there the cut off was 10 am.. and we hardly saw parts next day... and I had numerous used parts given to me that hack tech misdiagnosed and reboxed and sent back to toyota... set (south east toyota) crappy part distribution didn't eevn check them on the return and just reshipped them to others... I had a used cat convertor.. my favorite was the used oxygen sensor that was given to me with the threads totally stripped off.. The customer who owned the car who had to come back another time was laughing!!! parts down there is a JOKE!!!

 

has anyone seen this on the 2010 models?

 

Update:

Dropped the xB off at 1600 yesterday, and they reluctantly gave me a free loaner Camry, after they held my car hostage for two days and did NO work. Supposed to pick it up this PM after work.

 

Is there another method of seeing it leak besides the pink line? Mine won't show up and I'm reaching 36K in a few months...

 

If it's leaking, you will have the pink line... no pink line, no leak.

 

So, here I sit, still waiting on the car. They have had it since 4pm yesterday, and he is just now putting the belt on. Guess they really rushed to get on mine this am. Douche bags.

 

Well last week after installing my Engine LED'S, I looked up and saw a line going across my hood liner. I was like hmm and than BAM this post came to me. Im gonna try and take it too the dealer this week and have it checked out.

X2...You would think they would have fixed this problem by now...I guess I will just have to keep checking the wife's every so often if in fact it's still a problem on the 2010's...

 

I'm worried about when they fix mine. I'm getting it fixed on saturday... they kinda messed up my license plate when I went in the last time. The fact that they are tinkering around in the engine has me scared ____less

 

Okay so i just noticed the pink line on my underside of the hook. At about 17,000 miles. I did not read this whole thread, so i am sorry if this question was asked. Are they replacing them for free. And my follow up question. If they fix for free any chance they will give me a new pump if i am running a turbo setup?

Yes, mine is being fixed for free because the pump is covered under the Powertrain warranty.

As for the question about with the turbo setup... idk.

 

I think my replacement is leaking....
