Glad you liked the 'cuse. I'm originally from (born and riased) Hastings-Hudson...Its pretty different up here than Westchester County.

yup i dont use radar detectors either. they go off too much.

all these upstate scions coool. i go to bcc and basically live near cops so im always chill everyday. though a radar would be nice, but i know nothing and im broke....

While I am down there several times each year (still have family down there in Yonkers, Hastings, Tarrytown and eslewhere around the NYC emtro area), I don't miss it. It has changed allot since I left there in the early 80's. Its become more conjested, crazy more expensive (real estate), faster paced since then. This is mainly down to personal preference though... For the east coast, things up here are of a slower pace, people are generally friendly, lower population density means getting around when you need to (rush hour or not) is much easier and less stressfull - and I like that. Real estate up here is very resonable too. You do need to be able to enjoy or tolerate the winters up here though (lots of lake effect snow) I find it makes you really appreciate nice weather! LOL

Know what you mean.......Hope to retire in about 4years.......Reall y don't want to stay here........ We shall see..............I would like to check-out Rochester as well.......Be nice to spend winters in warm climate......But that can cost Moola
