Default Rattling under the hood

Has anyone noticed a rattling sound coming from under the hood. It seems to happen when I'm at a stop or stand still. It doesnt happen every time but some times more then others. I took it in for the 5k service and mention the sound to them but like always they never find anything wrong... I still hear. I got my parents to buy an 08xb after i got mines and they dont have the rattling in theres. Any one what it may be?

Could be rattling of the hood.

Easily adjustable if that is it.

I had the same problem. If you go press down on your hood while it's closed you should be able to see that there is some play and you might be able to reproduce the rattling noise if you jiggle it. As stated, just turn up the rubber stops a bit. I turned mine a full 360 degrees counter-clockwise.

I have the same hood rattling problem. I took it in yesterday for an oil change and told them about the problem and they told me they fixed it when they were done, but when I got home it started rattling again. I guess I will have to look at it myself to fix the problem.

I heard this rattling as soon as I got the car home, less than 10 miles. I turned the robber hood bumpers up about 3/4 turn and the noise was gone...

Nothing to be concerned about...
