My xb has gotten a bit louder, love that vacuum leak sound, brakes are grippier, however intermediate aceleration the tranny seems to hang in 3rd vs going directly to 4th. I normally accelerate at 2 grand and let the tranny do the work and once it gets into 4th give it a bit more to get up to highway speed.

Mine was idling loud, so i switched to Shell's V-power... now i use nothing but v-power and it's gotten much better...

as for the breaks, mine got really slippy, not grippy...

I use either Hess or WaWa gas as I have a card for both and they are near where I work and live.

Yeah, everything seems to of gotten better since I put a few thousand miles on it except the exhaust is a bit louder and its got that vacuum leak sound to it.

Yeah, what he said, take it to the dealer for the brakes and a check out. THey do that for no charge on new cars, they just wont reimburst for a rental if its not a warranty issue.

I have also tested traction and skid control, great features to have. Takes the fun out of driving down gravel roads.
