So I just got a 2010 xB. its got about 200 miles on it, and I just put a system in it yesterday afternoon. Now when I turn the key to just turn on the dash lights and radio, I can hear a click in the dash, just behind the digital speedometer. I tried disconnecting my subs but the click remains. Anyone notice this? Is this normal? I dont remember hearing it before.

 

Its probably normal. Lots of relays and the like flip on when you start the car. I wouldn't worry about it unless its really abnormal sounding...

 

hmmm... maybe Im just paranoid about my new car and never noticed it before.

 

I think everyone is always a little paranoid any time they get a new car. They want to be sure that everything is perfect.

Mine makes the same sound, and I have a 08 xB.
