TRD redesigns sway bar
no i meant that i chose to take the risk of the dealer BS by using non-trd. cause the trd warranty covers you even if the springs werent installed by the dealer.
i know the process of the warranty and such regarding modified parts..

OH REALLY?? I don't think so... look at this pic.. mine broke 2 days ago. it was on the B when I bought it used at 2,700 miles. it now has bee n2 years and has 22,000 miles.. the stealership said that it wasn't on the manifest from the Original buy, so they probably won't be replacing it for me, EVEN THOUGH I bought the damn 100,000 mile warranty. I have an appointment today at 3:30 to see what they can do.

well, Scion stepped up and replaced the sway bar for me..
I now have the NEW redesigned version. instead of mounting to the bottom shock bolt, it has sway bar links and is mounted elsewhere, totally different design. and much better too.
My advise to anyone with the old version.... KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS... and if the dealership didn't install it? well, then you only get 12 months warranty.
