looking good!!! I went with the same kit only manual switches. Wife wouldn't let me spend another 800-1000 on the digital. :-(

you can cut the air tank feet and make them shorter then mount the air tank to the floor on its feet.

Where did you run the add-a-fuse? There's some included in the kit but they don't seem to work with any of the fuses under the hood. They're all weird mini fuses with short legs, not like the mini fuses I've seen with long legs.

Well I'm going to end up selling this kit. It was fun while it lasted but an ad in the classifieds will be up soon.

Only problem I had was the front left strut "rattled" from the get go. I got it covered under warranty. If you've had it for 3 weeks and it doesn't do it, my feeling is you're good. Think it was a fluke thing as they've sold quite a few of these kits. I was happy with it. It's my wife's car now so I wanted her to have a spare tire.

Do either of you have issues with the front bags popping? I know it's a common problem but does it affect your accuracy if your running v2. My v2 is very off. I have to hit a preset three times to get to the correct pressures.

The bags don't pop, but the struts will only when aired out all the way and then go to air it back up. Which is technically at 10psi because that's the minimum they want you to run the bags at.

I never had an issue with the v2 reaching the preset pressures unless driving on a bumpy road. I think this happens because the pressure in all the bags is constantly changing as the suspension is compressing, etc. The system is trying to put a certain pressure in that you've preset but the pressures keep changing, making it impossible. Mine would get within a few psi which wasn't enough to make any difference in ride quality or ride height.

Question is does it do it when you're standing still or just when driving down the road??

No matter if I'm rolling or not I have to hit it atleast two times to get all bags withing a few psi of preset. My fronts air up to about 110 then pop and go down to about 70.

my presets are fine, it is within a couple numbers so Its good with me. When I am aired all way out, my struts have a pop sound when I first air up, but after they have about 30 pounds in them, they never make any noise.

I would contact Airlift. They were very good about the warranty with my strut.

Yea I probably will talk to Jeff over at airlift again.
@Lavabox Your struts pop at 30 psi? Do you air all the way to zero or stop short?

I usually air down to 10 or close, just when I first hit up the driver side strut pops some. But after it has over 30 or so pounds in it, neither make any noise at all. If I don't let it down below 30 pounds, it never makes any sounds. Its no big deal to me. I have double checked everything, and have heard about this noise from others , so Im ok with it

Yea I figured out what it is yesterday when I had one of my struts out. When aired all the way out the bag rolls over the bottom bag mount. When I air up to around 100psi it rolls bag over and pops open. Need to try airing down to ten psi when I get my manifold back and see if that helps anything.

I removed the kit last week. I inspected the bags and didn't notice any uneven wear. Actually, no wear at all from the bag rubbing anything. I guess it could be rolling over that smooth lip without hurting anything. I'm sure that's why that bottom lip is made smooth and anodized to prevent any issues.

Good luck with your kit. I liked mine. Wife's driving it more often now though.

when you aired down code, did you stop at 10 psi or 0? I read where lowest operating pressure was 10 psi, but was told by rep at air lift when parking, airing out to 0 was fine. Just don't drive at 0, which is fine because I cant anyway

Talked to Jeff at airlift. He thinks my front bag rubber is cut too long. Waiting to hear back from him.

I never aired down past 10 psi. If the rep told you otherwise, then I guess that's your call. The instructions specifically state not to go below 10psi. Honestly, on my car, I don't think going below 10 psi would have made a difference anyway. I think you're sitting on bumpstops right at about that point but I could be wrong/ lacking experience.

Referring to the pancake tank, when the feet are on the ground, so is the tank itself. Meaning, the lowest part of the tank is level with the bottom of the feet (maybe highter by a few millimeters).

Cutting the feet off my pancake tank would not have made a difference due to the fitting location being too high on the tank. The false floor would hit the fitting and not drop anywhere near where it would need to be to lock down.

This is why I went with the barrel tank. I'd like to see how others did it though.

So after going back and forth for a bit with Jeff at airlift he suspects that my bag rubber is cut too long. Today he went ahead and sent me a new pair of front bags. Amazing customer service right there. We were waiting to hear from airlift's engineering department about if my bag was in fact too long but they're really backed up. Jeff went above and beyond and just sent the bags. Will update possibly with a new thread when the new bags come in.
