Default B&G loweing springs

anyone have any info pics or anything on these B&G lowering springs? im looking into these beause they are 1.6 in the front and 2.2 in the rear. most are 1.7 in the front and i really dont want any scraping but i want it low. im thinking that point 1 could really make a difference. I talked to my local tuner shop and they said they either use megan racing or B&G so i would think their pretty good but i cant find any information on these at all. so anything guys?????

I can honestly say that I doubt the .1" is going to make that much of a difference. I just ordered the Tein S-tech springs. I haven't isntalled them yet, but I would highly recommend (after tons of research) the Teins.

Autoanything.com has great deals on all springs too. I paid 180 shipped for mine.

dang that sounds like a great deal congrats, but ya i have been researching for about a week now and it either seem to be the s techs or the df210's but im worried so much about scraping is becuase i have an airtank for a train horn that is bout dead even with the botton so thats whats worrying me and thats the only reason i considered the B&G ones. i just cant decide on s techs or df210's. most everyone says the ride is infact better on df210's but i here the s techs arent as aggressive and sit a tad bit higher someone help me choose haha.

Does it sit even with the bottom? You said almost, so is that higher or lower than bottom of the car? If you have to worry about that air tank, you might not want to lower that much anyways. TRD springs go 1.0/1.2, still a drop, but not as much.

Location of the air tank matters also. The front of the car and middle (between the wheels) are the usual places to scrape. If you pay attention to speed bumps, you should be fine. Speed bumps are the only place you need to be worried (usually) when you are lowered on springs. Coilovers would be different.

I'd be tough pressed to lower that at all. There is a good chance of taking the fittings off with a slight hit. If it was mine, I would relocate the whole setup or build a skid plate for it...

their is no where else to put it unless i make some brackets and mount it sideways in the same spot but that would be a major pain but since its inbetween the wheels it shouldnt be a problem

i could maybe find a different pipe elbow to bring that up some but i have a question why did you chose the s techs over the df210's?

That's a good point. If it's between the wheels, it will never be the lowest point on the car. Your wheels will always be lower and take any scrapes out of the equation. You should be fine. I would just move the gauge and not worry about it. Just drive carefully.

I know a lot of people who run Teins. In the RMSC, there is a guy with them on his TC and he loves them. A friend has them on his WRX. They come highly recommended and they were actually cheaper than the DF210s. When you go to check out at auto anything, google for their savings codes. I found 15% off and free shipping.

I haven't heard bad things, but I'm a little biased. I want a firm ride with better handling. I know it will never be a race car, but better.

I used to drive a 2000 Mustang that was lowered on ebay springs with a racing seat and a 5 point harness. I drive straight up and like firm rides.

That being said, I haven't heard anyone say bad things. I just googled and googled to my hearts content. I was originally looking at Megan Racing coils, but the reviews say the rear settles and gives it a backward rake. I didn't want that. I looked for reviews from everyone too, not just Scion people.
