Odd noise when I brake..
For context, when I last changed my rear brakes the rear end of my car fell on the ground (my uncle had me put it in first gear and nothing was preventing it from moving so I'm not surprised this happened). After maybe 3 months I started hearing this grinding noise when I brake sometimes
and I've been told the entire rear end shifts slightly. I've already replaced the rear hub assemblies as of 2 weeks ago so that's not the issue, but was probably part of the problem. It's still happening, but not as often now. I don't want to spend $$$$ figuring out this problem so I figured I'd ask here.

Well the beam itself is damn near indestructible so we can probably rule that out. You've changed the hubs so we'll assume those are good. I'd have a look at the hand brake assembly as it's on the bottom side of the beam and brakes. Also check that the dust shield isn't bent. Done that a few times with my fronts because of my larger rotors. Lastly I'd check the caliper pins to make sure they are sliding smoothly.
Just occurred to me, if the rear end is shifting, check the shock mounts and the bushings that locate the front of the beam.
I believe I have now suggested checking every single part of the rear brakes and suspension. lol
