Hi,

5000K is brighter than 6000K, the only reason why 6000K would SEAM brighter is because it's WHITE (people are just not used to seeing white headlights) versus a little yellow tint on the 5000K.

Thanks!

troy, did you ever get these? i'm looking at a bi xenon 6000K kit now....

I bought the 6000k bi xenon, and am having an issue with it when I turn off my high beams it will knock out a light (magnet that moves it back and forth). I'll have to turn the lights completely off and then back on sometimes a couple of times, and it's totally random as to which light it will knock out (I have had both at one time).

fair warning, if you plan on driving at night in the rain, 8K and higher make it EXTREMELY hard to see the road and lines unless they have reflectors on the road.

just a fair warning.

so I have been running Pilot HIDs for two years on all three of our Scions. Two tCs and one 2ndGenxB. There has not been any problem with the quality until now. Recently the right bulb in my girls tC popped. It happen out of no where, the bulb was fine until recently. What could have been the cause of the bulb breaking? Oh the bulb has not been tampered with since we installed it.

Hi,

You will need the entire conversion kit (2 bulbs, 2 ballast, 2 wire harness , 2 adhesive pads/brackets and some zip ties)

Your bulb type is

2009 SCION xD
High & low beam headlamp
9003=H4

You have two choices for the H4/9003 (H4=9003) (hi/lo and bi-xenon)
hi/lo means your low beam is HID and high beam is Halogen because this bulb type has two bulbs in one bulb base to go from low to high beam.
And the bi-xenon means both your low and high beams will be HID.

Thanks~
